CHALLENGE YOURSELF
WHY DO THIS?
One of the most empowering things is knowing what you believe and being able to explain it to others, in fact, the more you have opportunity to share with others the more emboldened and empowered you become. Your confidence will grow and soon you will realize that there is so much more to know. The learning never ends.
You may think right now that no one will take you serious, or that you don't know how to express your views or that you don't know enough to share.
These thoughts, are tools of the enemy. They are banking on...hoping with all hope that you will keep your head in the sand and your thoughts to yourself. They would like to keep you ignorant and fill your mind with useless thoughts.
UP RISE provides these personal challenge questions and activities for your benefit. We want to stretch your mind. We encourage you to take what you know, as you learn it and do something with it.
My pastor has said "you don't need another sermon, what are you doing with what you know?"
If you feel you don't know enough, then the question is "what's the first thing you are going to work on learning?" This site will provide a wide array of educational topics such as learning about the Constitution, the founding fathers, the voting process, learning who your representatives are etc.
After you have completed the 1st 2 challenges on this page let us know. We will be posting more. Set some goals. Self Educate and become empowered through self discipline here.
